A Dark Supernatural Roleplay Experience in Second Life
Etiquette expectations apply to everyone, Roleplayers and Staff alike
Failure to familiarize yourself with the following on a regular basis is not a valid excuse for disrupting the experience of other players. Moderators will always try to issue warnings first when approaching about possible rule breaking. In-World and Discord bans will be issued by an Admin.
Respect
⫸ Ask before joining an inworld scene you stumble upon.
⫸ Do not fly or teleport direction into a Roleplay Scene.
⫸ Be courteous — disappearing in the middle of a scene happens; let other players know you have to step away.
OOC
⫸ Keep OOC chatter to Direct Messages, Discord or OOC spaces.
⫸ If you are posting OOC in nearby, use ((brackets)) to note you are out of character.
⫸ Unless noted, all public spaces are considered In Character.
You will be considered IC by default unless wearing an OOC tag in your titler.
Metagaming/Powergaming/Godmodding/Internal Emoting
⫸ No Metagaming — Your character should not have IC information learned through OOC means.
⫸ No Powergaming — You may never take control of another players character without explicit permission
⫸ No Godmodding — No character is all powerful or immune to consequences — be it attack, injury or influence.
⫸ No “Thought” Emoting — All posts should only include information which other characters can respond to.
Please avoid posting internal thoughts which players may not otherwise know and can’t respond to.
Post Order
⫸ Keep the post order unless someone disappears for more than 15 minutes.
⫸ During Combat with the HUD, please Initiate before the encounter starts and then follow the post order.

Consent
⫸ No permanent actions can be forced on your character without your consent.
⫸ OOC Consent is always required. This is an adult sim with darker themes, however limits must be respected.
Talk to your partner OOC — concerning ERP, kink, rape, curses, contracts, injury, death
or anything which may be considered a ‘limit’ or cause permanent changes or alterations to a character.
⫸ Attempting to pressure a player into something they aren’t comfortable with is never allowed.
Consequences
⫸ No character is all-powerful and above consequences. IC actions have IC consequences.
⫸ IC actions such as breaking into a private Kith space, acting in goading or aggressive, theft or similar actions will be responded to appropriately IC. If you don’t want trouble don’t go looking for it.
⫸ Actions have consequences, but not all scenes must be Roleplayed out.
Discuss alternatives to consequences if a player isn’t comfortable with the direction of a scene.
You are always able to Fade to Black a scene and move forward from there.
Disclaimer
⫸ The admin team reserves the right to remove any problem roleplayers from the community. This means that any players who have had a dispute moderated but continue to harass other players, repeatedly broken rules, who are banned and found in circumvention of said ban, or who have been blocked and continue to harass other players will be removed immediately. Staff may remove players for any reason they deem necessary. We take the health, well-being and safety of our community seriously.
